Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and God Did LLC ("PlayCooker," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of the PlayCooker mobile and web application and website (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
PlayCooker is a football play design and coaching tool. Free accounts include the core play designer with limits described in the app. Paid plans ("Pro," "Tackle," and "Team") unlock additional features such as unlimited plays, cloud sync, full-field 11v11 design, and — on the Team plan — the Film Room with game film storage up to the plan's stated limit.
We may add, change, or remove features over time. Features described as coming soon or on a roadmap are not promises and are not part of the plan you purchase today.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and may not share an individual account's credentials beyond your own use, impersonate anyone, or use the Service on behalf of an organization without authority to bind it.
The Service is a general-audience tool intended for coaches and program staff. It is not directed at children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and every sign-up requires confirming that you are 13 or older; we do not knowingly allow accounts for anyone younger. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle children's information.
2.1 Team Membership and Player Accounts
A program's owner or coaches may invite people to their team with a join code, as a coach or as a player. Coach accounts can add, cut, tag, and manage film. Player accounts are viewing accounts: a player can watch the teach tapes their coaches have published and the raw game film their team has shared, and nothing else — players cannot upload, edit, or delete film, and cannot see who has watched what.
Player accounts are subject to the same age requirement as every other account (13 or older). A player under 18 uses the Service through their program: the program that invites a minor is responsible for having whatever parental or guardian permission its league, school, or association and applicable law require, and the program's owner may remove any member from the team at any time.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
3.1 Billing Channels
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or — for web purchases — Stripe. Purchases made through Apple or Google are governed additionally by those platforms' terms, and those platforms handle their own billing and refunds.
3.2 Auto-Renewal
All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, per your plan) until cancelled. Your payment method will be charged at the then-current price at the start of each renewal period.
3.3 Cancellation
You can cancel anytime: App Store subscriptions from your device's subscription settings, Google Play subscriptions from the Play Store, and web subscriptions from Account → Manage Subscription in the app. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan remains active until the end of the period already paid for.
3.4 Refunds
For web (Stripe) purchases, contact support@playcooker.com within 7 days of purchase to request a refund. App Store and Google Play refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies.
3.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices. Price changes apply at your next renewal, and we will give you reasonable advance notice so you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
3.6 Downgrades and Lapse
If a subscription ends or lapses, your content is preserved but plan-gated features lock until you resubscribe. Content that exceeds a lapsed plan's limits (for example, film storage above the free allowance) may become inaccessible and, after an extended lapse and reasonable notice, may be deleted.
4. User Content
4.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to the Service — plays, formations, notes, and video ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
4.2 Uploader Responsibility
PlayCooker is a hosting platform. The coach or program that uploads User Content — including game and practice film — is solely responsible for it, including:
- Having the legal right to record, upload, and share the footage
- Obtaining every permission and consent the footage requires, including consent from parents or guardians for footage of minors, in accordance with applicable law and league, school, or association policy
- Complying with your league's, school's, or association's rules on film exchange and scouting
- Not uploading footage you do not have rights to (for example, broadcast or third-party copyrighted content)
We host User Content on your behalf. We do not review User Content, and we do not obtain, verify, or manage any rights, permissions, or consents for it.
Upload links. A program's owner or coaches may create an upload link so that someone without a PlayCooker account — a parent, a team videographer, another coach — can send film straight to the program. Anyone who has the link can use it to upload film to that program until it expires or is turned off. An uploader types their name when they upload; we store that name with the film and show it to the program's coaches so they know who sent what. Film received through a link belongs to the program that created the link and is subject to this Section 4 exactly as if the program had uploaded it itself: the coach who shares an upload link is responsible for who they share it with, for what those recipients upload through it, and for the rights, permissions, and consents that footage requires. If you upload through someone else's link, you represent that you have the right to send that footage to the program and that the name you enter is yours.
4.3 Your Warranties
By uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and consents needed to upload it and to let us host it as described in these Terms, and that it does not violate any law or anyone's rights. You will indemnify God Did LLC for claims arising from your User Content, as set out in Section 10.
4.4 Removal and Suspension
We may remove or disable access to User Content, or suspend or terminate an account, if we receive a credible complaint about it or believe it violates these Terms or applicable law. We may do so without prior notice where we consider it necessary, and we are not obligated to monitor User Content.
4.5 Content Complaints and Takedown Requests
To report User Content — for example, film of you or your child posted without consent, or content that infringes your rights — email support@playcooker.com with the subject "Content Complaint." Please include your name and contact information, a description of the content and where it appears (such as the program, game, or date), and the reason for your request. We will review and respond to complaints within a reasonable time and may share your request with the account holder responsible for the content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Upload content that is infringing, defamatory, harassing, or exploits or endangers minors
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service
- Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or circumvent plan limits or payment
- Interfere with the operation of the Service, including by overloading, scraping, or introducing malicious code
6. Our Intellectual Property
The Service — including the app, site, designs, and branding — is owned by God Did LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service per these Terms. Exports you create of your own plays are yours to use for your program.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time by emailing support@playcooker.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 8, 9, 10, and 12) survive.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we recommend keeping your own copies of critical film and play materials.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, God Did LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless God Did LLC from claims arising out of your User Content (including uploaded video and any missing consents or rights), your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your place of residence.
